Francois Chidane 7
2004 Vouvray - Chenin blanc. The undisputed king of Montlouis, his style has been compared to Daguineau. 2004 is back to crisp style, this wine has plenty of body, citrus and mineral, very little herbaceousness and a bit of an oaky flavor on the finish. Good balance, complemented fish and spicy foods at Slanted Door. $49.  (2005-12-16)
